What would you buy? I already like their magnascopic mascara but haven't tried anything else by them...

Lip liners, every time. I got a freebie after buying perfume twenty years ago and never looked back. Only ever found one other make to rival. Or Beautiful'. Gorgeous smell.

Iif it lasts long enough I would wait for their big Christmas kit to come out and buy that. They usually do one of the better ones.

People on S and B rave about their double wear/day wear/something like that foundation.

Is the gift card from Debenhams OP? I bought someone a Benefit gift card for someone and they didn't buy makeup and instead bought a bra in Debenhams just in case you would rather spend the money buying something else.

Ooh last time I was buying Clinique, the Estee Lauder rep served me and gave me a free sample of some oil capsules you wear under your make up - Ceramide Gold Ultra Restorative Capsules.

They made my face feel fabulous and my make up so very smooth.

They were the BEST THING EVER - and have made me consider swapping from Clinique and Dior (loyal).

i like projectionist mascara. They also do an eyelash primer that is great. My favourite EL product is their perfume called intuition.

Psst, Condensed Milk, those Ceramide capsules are by Elizabeth Arden...

Best things @ EL in my expert opinion (I used to work for them), are: Advanced Night Repair range, Idealist, Perfectionist - well, all their repair range, basically. PLus Daywear/Light if it suits your skin tone and the finish is right for you. Also DayWear moisturiser, again if it suits your skin.

Makeup wise, I'm not that fussed. The whole of the DayWear range is great of you like the long wearing. I'm not that fussed on the mascaras tbh, and Bobbi/Mac much better for eyeshadows.

One thing EL do really well is brightening powder in their seasonal 'color stories', but I think this summer's has pretty much sold through now.

Such an expert... that of the 3 times I wrote DayWear in above post, 2 should have been DoubleWear.... .

So: Daywear moisturiser which is light, non greasy and has SPF etc.
DOUBLEwear makeup range which is very long-wearing
