Any treatment for dark discolouration

I have had discolouration on my legs for years now, don't know what caused it, would laser treatment get rid of the discolouration? its not the whole leg, but quite a big patch on both legs. No health issues. Thanks.

Since pregnancy 2 years ago I have these patches on my face and, barring very pricey creams and serums that I simply can't afford, my only solution is foundation to even it out.
