Jeans for a Curvey 14/16

Do they exist?

I have loads of pairs of jeans, most fit to the leg, but gap at the waist. I have one pair from Dorothy Perkins, that are miles too big, but I still wear them......

All the others never see the light of day, as I can't move properly in them without risking flashing my knickers or bum at people Hmm

I have recently bought myself a nice leather jacket and leather cross body bag, so I now what to buy a couple of nice pairs of jeans.

Has anybody got any reasonably priced options?

I'm an hourglass size 14/16, (the bum bit is probably more 16)

Thanks x

how about Levi's - apparently they do a new sizing in jeans and you do a survey of how jeans fit you (eg, gape at waist, tight on waist etc) and they conclude in which is the best style to suit - pretty expensive at £90+ (i think) but seeing as jeans last FOREVER and if they look good are worn pretty much (if like me) every day - well worth it

I'm going to get a pair this month because i'm an apple shape so jeans are either tight around the waist but great on the bum or baggy bum but great round the waist!!! Apparently Levis have the ideal pair for me :) Happy days if they do.

failing that, how about the plus size shops, they tend to be more adapting in the ways of the ladies figure shapes - EVans or online "simply be"

Get yourself some high waisted jeans- I cant believe I struggled with flashing my muffin top for so long. I have ones like these and they are brilliant.

They have darker ones too. Its important they have the extra buttons to cover the belly bit.

Thanks mumofjz, I'll have a look at the Levi's site, but I think I'll go for them in a couple of months as I've spent enough lately Smile

I'll have a try of those in new look, thanks nomazeena x
