Isnt it supposed to be launched today? Any signs? Hope it is worth the wait unlike the sale...

it is supposed to be today, they have said will be today on the facebook page. Lots of people complaining as not up already and no discount codes posted.

If youre really desperate to see, apparently if you type a keyword in the search bar, say Dress all the autumn/winter stuff comes up and then you can anrrow down to young girls/johnnie b etc on the side. its only thumbnails, but depends on how keen you are to see the new stuff.

Hawise · 20/07/2012 12:56

Thanks daisydoodoo, the girls clothes look much the same as before. Don't know what they mean about it being different from previous ranges Hmm I do like it, just not different imho.

Onlyaphase · 20/07/2012 17:29

I've got a basket full of stuff and no discount code! I'm so used to the lovely discount codes that I don't feel inclined to buy without one.

orangeandlemons · 20/07/2012 17:34

Onlyaphase have you had the proper preview then? Are they really offering wihout the discount! Hmm. I won't be buying anything without that!

Onlyaphase · 20/07/2012 17:40

Yes, the full A/W mini boden range is there on the website now, and it looks like they are shipping items now with no delay. So it isn't really a preview, hence no discount. Am gutted.

Northernlurker · 20/07/2012 17:51

It's not a preview and the girls stuff at least is not radically different from previous seasons. As was said all along, that bollocks about keeping it under wraps was just that - bollocks to try and get people to pay full price. Johnny think we are daft. I'm quite cross with him.

shelley72 · 20/07/2012 18:38

have been out all afternoon so thanks for your messages. so its there but no discount Shock. thats what i was waiting for! what is dear old johnnie playing at?
i wont be buying either until i have a discount code

The usual stuff (not that there's anything wrong with that).

I'm a bit doubtful about "prettier prices", though - that usually translates to poorer quality.

shoppingbagsundereyes · 20/07/2012 18:50

Is there are preview code?

TuttoRhino · 20/07/2012 18:53

Hmm there's actually quite a few things I like in the girls section. But I'm not buying without a discount.

MrsBovary · 20/07/2012 18:54

Yes, it does seem quite cheap. I do wonder if quality has improved.

Perhaps they've dispensed with the perpetual discount codes (a real pet peeve of mine) and have just priced realistically instead. That would be welcome change indeed!

I'll probably buy a few things for the girls, just for daywear, but it's not amazing collection. Am awaiting my own autumn preview order more hopefully (as I bought a few things from there), however.

BeattieBow · 20/07/2012 18:56

I got sent an email with 10% off, but I can't see a code, you just have to click through the email.

I'll wait for at least 15% off though I think.

Millie1 · 20/07/2012 18:57

Same old stuff. The cynic in me says there was hype about a new range just to avoid the 20% preview discount. If there was 20%, I'd order a few girls things but not without the discount. The boys stuff is same as always - my boys at 8 and 10 have long outgrown the type of logo tops that Boden produce.

Shame on you Johnnie!

BeattieBow · 20/07/2012 19:19

it does seem cheaper I think, but not different to other years. The Johhnie B stuff is more childish than before - no chance my 11yo will like any of it.

DoingTheBestICan · 20/07/2012 19:47

If you type in EBAY you get 15% off and free delivery and returns

clayfeet · 20/07/2012 19:50

I thought it was supposed to be edgy? Same old shit.

herecomesthsun · 20/07/2012 20:03

I have looked through the babies' range so far, and seen lots that I like. Also the boys' T shirts. There seem to be some items cheaper than before, but not uniformly so. I am loath to order at full price because I am on maternity leave and will have a few months with v little coming in. Also, there is some advantage to seeing what others make of the items in terms of reviews - has the quality really declined?

herecomesthsun · 20/07/2012 20:43

oh, EBAY? (wondering whether to hang in there for something better)

MagicDougal · 20/07/2012 20:49

I got the 10% off Boden e-mail and had a look. Felt really pleased actually as our finances are about to take a down turn so there is a lot of belt tightening going on which extends to not buying new clothes.

Having seen the new Boden catalogue I can rest easy in the knowledge that there is nothing I would buy even if we were loaded. A lot of the dresses are obscenely expensive and drab. I wasn't inspired by any of the boys stuff at all but would have bought one of the fleecy hoodies if the boys grown out of their current ones but they haven't.

orangeandlemons · 20/07/2012 21:05

I see no perceptible difference between this yearand lastHmm.

Still think £24.00 a hooded top is too steep

Vespers · 20/07/2012 22:11

The new Mini Boden is "radically different","nothing like we've done before" etc. Really??
Johnnie must think we are dim Hmm

Kahu · 20/07/2012 22:43

Looks the same to me only more drab. Meh. But the some of the baby stuff is nice.

Piffpaffpoff · 20/07/2012 23:14

It doesn't look any different to me. Heart kneed trousers? check. Brushed tartan baggies? check. hideous patterns that give me flashbacks to my wardrobe in the seventies? check

Odmedod · 20/07/2012 23:47

Some nice-ish things, definitely bodeny though, not 'different'.
Will wait for a 20% code...
