Black Bikinis?

Obviously black looks good on most people, but is it a bit dreary for a bikini or stylish?

No, black is very classy, and not lacey so not underwear ish.
I'm after a black bikini with subtle black sequins on top, saw one on someone recently & looked lovely.

I think they are bland and if you refer to house of colour actually black doesn't suit most people (only winters I think). Much better to find a colour that really complements your skin tone I think

I always take a black bikini with me but wear a whole range of colours throughout the holiday (because I seem to have a developed a bikini obsession of late!)

It won't look like underwear. You could always go for a soft cup/triangle top which definitely won't look underwear-ish, if nork size allows of course . Look for subtle details which enhance the bikini - I have a Michael Kors one which has small gold metal detailing at the hip and between the cups of the top.

Thanks. I can't get away with triangle/soft cup (although I'd like to) as I'm too big and a bit wonky (BF from only one side) so need something more substantial.

Hazlenut, I have looked at that one and like it, but they only have the tie side briefs in my size and I'd prefer the classic bikini brief. I might look around, but I have a 20% off code for figleaves at the moment.

I have both and yes, the regular bikini bottom is much prettier on. I think there were some on ebay, (can't link at the moment) so if you really like it, could get a top from figleaves and bottom somewhere else.

I ordered this as I wanted a bandeau tankini too, so got the matching one. I got the hsorts and normal bottoms.

I also ordered 3 other bikinis and a bikini top, then got the matching bottoms on Ebay. I am now poor....

ooh nice, I'm very tempted, might actually get the same one in amethyst..
