Will they scramble around to create another summer 'season' to sell?

I know that summer stock gets sold off in the sales around July every year anyway, but this year has been quite extreme I think?

It strikes me as bizarre that shops always get it so wrongly timed OP. You'd think given todays technology etc that shops would investigate weather conmdtioms in as far advance as possible and take their cue from that.

I honestly don't know what will happen. Maybe they have held some stock back?
