My nails are naturally quite weak and rather pathetic really, I take care of them, even have vit supplements, use solar oil, etc, and would love some recommendations for some fab lasting polish. Thanks

you need a good top coat. My favourite is Seche Vite.

Get a manicure done. It's amazing what a difference in makes. If that isn't an option cut and file you nails properly. Then paint on a base coat, decent polish (two coats) and a good top coat all dried properly. It'll last for ages. (or weekly!).

Jessica is great. If you are having problems it may be good to get a manicure with treatments and then use the polish at home.

Essie plus Seche Vite. I also second the professional manicure if you can afford it.

Take your own color to nail bar. Them you can top up chips

Gelish are great!

I'm very happy with Essie at the moment. Really good range in Boots now, about £8 each.

SensatioNail. Am loving Coral Sunset at the moment.
Plus my nail grow loads when I wear it.

I second Gelish. It's really gentle on your nails. I didn't know about pitfalls of shellac and am now growing stumps out!
