I usually home dye but as I'm getting married in 7 weeks I thought I would treat myself to a trip to the salon a couple of weeks prior, in about 5 weeks time. However the grey is really showing through now as I've left it a while thinking I could get away with it until the salon trip. It really needs doing - should I use the home dye kit I have sitting in the bathroom or will this cause havoc for the hairdresser in 5 weeks time? I really don't want to leave it as I've got a few social occasions coming up. Should I just go to the salon next week and have a retouch later? The home kit is obviously cheaper but I want my hair to look lovely for the wedding (I'll be wearing it up so my grey hot spots will be on show!)
