Blonde highlights?

Are they still in, or out?
I used to have them before I met my dh, now 5 years or so later, 2 dd's, and I've lost touch with what's in, or out.
I was looking at old photo's of me, and my hair looked great. Since having dd's my hair's just dull being dark brown.
I wasn't bright blonde, it was very natural, and it looked lovely on me, and people always used to say my hair looked lovely.
I don't want the disco badger look with blond on top, and dark underneath, just half a head of highlights to bring my hair back.
Any thoughts???

What does it matter if they are out or in (whatever that means anyway)

Get what ever you want yourself.

I've been blond highlighted, since my mid twenties. I'm 50 this year. In the past I've gone almost back to my dark blond natural but find that a few strategically placed highlights "lift" my looks enormously and I never think of them being in or out of vogue.

Thanks Eliza22. My hair definately needs a lift, and I'm going back to the UK for a holiday in about 3 weeks, so think I'll book up. Just wasn't sure in hairstyle fashions, if highlighting was still in or not, seen as I've not had it done for over 5 years.

Yep, I have blonde highlights and I love it...just so much of a better look for me than a whole head.

Def not out so go for it :)

Also, I have them done very fine....one darker than "me" and one lighter so, it looks kind of natural. A full head is for the under 25's, if anyone IMO.
