Thinking ahead - wedding guest dress suitable for a larger, BFing lady?

I anticipate being about size 16 by the time a couple of big family weddings come around, early next year. I'm already the largest in a family of slim-jims, and want to look as stylish and feel as comfortable as possible, to avoid feeling like a freak. I have two aunts who, though well meaning Hmm, always manage to say the wrong thin about my appearance or look me up and down almost pityingly. I plan to avoid feeling like a horrible mumsy frump by dressing well for my size, but don't know how to do it! Any suggestions?

Also, the BFing means a wrap-style is possibly unavoidable, but I'd rather not. Don't want trousers either.
