Sorry it's another wedding one Blush

I've been invited to an afternoon tea party themed wedding in a castle and I can't find a thing to wear. I thought it would be so easy but I can't find anything that I like/would suit me.

Being short, 5'2 and having the worst knees in the world is really hampering the process and I'm all but ready to give up Sad

If you lovely ladies out there can find a short, pear shaped 37 year old something nice to wear (that doesn't cost more than about £60) I would be eternally grateful

Have you had a look at the monsoon sale? There's lots under £60 and most are knee length but might be longer on you so would hide your knees.

They have lots of dresses that I think would be a good shape on you - fitted waist and prom style skirt?

Get an hourglass there are all sorts of colours and sleeve lengths, so well made and flattering, a little over budget but it's a classic.

Love the Hepburn 50's style on that site FauxFox but every colour is out of stock.

Think the others would just make the rounded tummy look even rounder!

Have been into Monsoon, minibreaks, hoping for a sale bargin but only prom type one they had was a lilac flowery one - just not me.

Asos have a good selection of midi length dresses, i've got a couple and the quality is good for the price.
pale blue
teal I have this exact on in red and it is really lovely, very heavy fabric and hangs beautifully.
red
spotty
blue shift

Agree with FauxFox. The Pretty Dress Company dresses are classic. Well worth the extra 30 quid. They are rather long though so you'd need to take a few inches off the hem and your knees would still be covered!
They have a bit of a sleb following though, which makes me think the 2 dresses I ordered took a back seat where priority was concerned. The first one took 6 weeks to arrive and I'm still waiting for the second Confused 8 weeks on.

Wedding is in three weeks so unless I take a trip down to Kent think I will have to find something else.

I like fox's red one however they don't have it in my size and the pale blue but i don't think pale blue is really my colour.

Have seen this, which granted isn't a classic but happy to just wear once, but can't decide if its unusal or just plain ugly Smile
