What's the difference between gel whitening and laser whitening? Which is better

Gel whitening will take a few weeks of wearing a retainer filled with gel every night.

Laser whitening is doen in a couple of hours at the dentist.

Which one is better depends on why you're having it done, your teeth etc. so best to ask your dentist for their recommendation.

DH has just had his teeth whitened with special dentist gel stuff. It's made a huge difference - much better than the DIY stuff you get at Boots. His teeth were a bt sensitive after the first few days, but he says they are OK now. Took about 12 days and he has enough syringes of gel in the the fridge to do a top -up later.

I had gel stuff from dentist which worked well but I was told I would need to top it up now and again. In the meantime I bought a Sonic toothbrush and since I've got it people keep asking me if I've had my teeth whitened! Mentioned it to the dentist and she said she bought one a few months before I did and has had the same results, she is also not needing to use her whitener. Maybe a different toothbrush would help!
