Holiday Wardrobe - help desperately needed

I am 5ft 4inches and a size 12 - a size larger than I was this time last year.
We are going to Egypt in two weeks and I am having a real panic about buying some new things to take away.
I think I can still wear a bikini (despite my weight gain) but need some new ones. I don't like anything fussy and prefer plain colours such as black.
I also need a couple of evening outfits.

Please can you help and provide some links. I have spent hours on the internet looking but don't seem to be able to find what I want!

Thank you

Thanks. I really like the bikini you suggested.

I'm off on holiday in 3 weeks and am around the same size.(oh ok slightly bigger, but I'm wearing a bikini with pride!)

Debenhams do some lovely bikinis, but their website is pants so you right want to go to the shop. I've got a black gel one from there which is bloody fantastic.

For the evening I am taking a plain black maxi from h and m, a warehouse halterneck maxi, two ax Paris maxis, a LBD and a selection of tops and some nice cream, navy and grey linen trousers.

Beach dresses from h and m are cheap and great.

Here is ax Paris dress I've got: www.axparis.co.uk/products/Print-Strapless-Maxi.html

I will be watching for ideas too Wink

That DP maxi is polyester and would feel hideous in the heat of Egypt, I imagine.

If you do fancy a maxi, The White Company have some v nice, v plain ones. Warehouse are also quite good for nice tops and dresses for evening.

White Company dresses here They are more expensive than H&M, Dotty P's etc but the quality is vmuch better.

Also H&M have some cute racer back cotton dresses for under £10 each, I wore recently in Turkey when it was 38 in the shade x

Thanks everyone. Suggestions really helpful. Unfortunately the bikini at H & m is out of stock for a month or so.
Am looking at other suggestions.

Would the maxi dresses from The White Company be too long - I can wear heels but am only 5foot 4??

If you do maxis -- I tried some on at Hobbs on Friday and they were fine length wise. I'm 5'4.

I'm only 5 foot 2, and WC maxis are fine for me. I looked at a purple one in Hobbs today and it was longer than the WC ones.
