I need some Bridgets that work!!!

I know there are tonnes of different styles out there but I'm after some great big pants that will hold in my 'mummy' tummy (it's over a year now, apparently I can't blame the fact I've just had a baby so it must be down to all the cake I've eaten since having DS).

The new Gok Wan range looks nice (and I like him do I don't mind buying his stuff!) but DOES IT ACTUALLY WORK?! I preferable want something that won't cost the earth and that it's not Mission:Impossible if I need to pop to the loo. It's for under summer dresses (if indeed we get a summer) do machine washable would be fantastic.

I like the M&S own brand ones - forget the actual style name, but has satiny finish, 50s high waisted cut with a front corset like panel & bit of striped satin & see through trim at the tops of the legs

they not only work, but look good in a madmen/betty page sort of way too
