I have just bought a pair of clogs (exactly like swedish hasbeens but soooo much cheaper) from a company called Lotta from Stockholm. They are so lovely, so comfy and have cleared up my tedonitis in my ankle. They look super cute, i got natural leather low braided ones and they look great with my pink nail varnish on my toes. Really good experience, delivery, communication etc from the company too. Highly recommended. Treat yourself.

im glad you are pleased, i personally was thrilled with a pair of socks i brought tother day but each to there own

Lazydaisy55 · 12/07/2012 02:45

Sock - why make such a scarcastic comment?

if someone has bought an item they are happy with, thats lovely. Don't be mean.

Lazydaisy55 · 12/07/2012 02:47

Sock-" there" , should be " their".

ujjayi · 12/07/2012 07:18

Emmasonny i have been tempted by the Lotta brand clogs so thanks for feedback. I bought a bargainous pair of wannabe Hasbeens from Miss Selfridge for a tenner (leather, reduced in the sale)! Which are also proving to be gorgeous and comfy.

socknickingpixie - not really worth the effort of posting that, was it?

AppleHEAD · 12/07/2012 09:41

Thanks for the tip I will have a look I love clogs! Sad about the sock troll

Socknickingpixie · 12/07/2012 13:00

fyi,it is not a sarcastic comment.i actually read it and it made me smile in a good way i was impressed that her shopping experance was good enough to warrent posting about because i think far to many people complain but dont say when things are right as op's experance clearly was.
im sure if you had of had the benefit of the tone or body language you would have realised that obviously this is the internet so nobody gets that.

i was also impressed because it sounds like she got a bargin but as im unsure if thats the case i just expressed my pleasure at reading about the shopping experance. i also then went and googled the company to see if there was anything i may wish to buy purely based on her view of the customer service,if i hadnt have got sidetracted i would have then came back and posted that they do look nice so i brought myself a pair.

dont jump to negative conclusions just because a person as a different turn of phrase to you because thats mean

check out BJORN CLOGS in Yorkshire. They have a pretty basic website, but make fab Swedish style clogs to order in many colours. They get all the bits in from Sweden apparently.

emmasonny · 12/07/2012 20:13

socknickingpixie - maybe you dont use mumsnet in the same way others do, loads of people go to the trouble of putting up reviews of things, positive and negative, its kind of the point of these threads, so it was nt really a case of me having a shopping experience that 'warranted' posting, ( i also want to support small businesses if they have been good, times are hard for people) i just read reviews on here alot and thought i d do the same. I think the fact that a few people commented on your weirdly toned post may say more about you than them. Maybe change your internet 'tone', be nice and get spell check and enjoy your clogs.

Have numerous pairs of clogs from
Lotta. They have some fab new funky clogs online at the mo. am saving up after a Clarks sandals splurge! Granted with this weather could have saved some money but I live in hope. Lots of hope!

Socknickingpixie · 12/07/2012 21:48

I'm used to getting it wrong and genuinly didn't wish to cause any offence seriously if you heard me talk in rl it would be painfully embarrising. That's why I tend to keep myself to myself.
But your review did work and when mine arrive I hope my feet like them as much as your feet do.so thank you for writing it

tethersend · 12/07/2012 21:54

Agreed- have two pairs from there, the peep toes and the classic high clog. Very comfy. Wish they'd make the heel a bit narrower, though.

busyboysmum · 12/07/2012 21:54

Oooh I love these:

Blue Clogs

But I am a size 8, often 42 and they only seem to go up to a 41. What is the sizing like?

emmasonny · 12/07/2012 22:14

i think they are wide too, so come up a little big. they have a way to measure your feet on their website so you could try that.

Size down, definitely.

monkeysmama · 12/07/2012 22:32

I have braided clogs from SH and Lotta and yes, the Lotta ones are a bit clompier than Hasbeens.
