Booked a break to the sun.

But have nothing to wear... I have simply not bothered to buy any summer stuff because of this horrible weather and have nothing to wear on hols.

Any suggestions for a few basic pieces that are easy to combine and don't break the bank pretty please.

I chucked out most of my summer stuff last year and I'm now kicking myself....

Trying to avoid the sales... I'm not a very good bargain hunter... only going for 10 days and would like to travel light but will need some clothes.

If you register with Brand Alley you can get some really amazing deals, and they do hvae lots of summer type stuff - but you need to wait awhile for delivery. It's pretty high-end designer gear but about 70% off. It's worth a look....

You clearly need a maxi dress and flat sandals though, right?! Can't go on hols without, so the magazines says...

Going middle of August. Was thinking maxi dress/skirts but I don't want to end up getting something that will be totally wrong next year. Don't mean to sound negative but I don't think I will be wearing any of the summery stuff in the UK this year.

Ideally would like to get stuff online, no time spent hours going around the shops. I usually don't manage to find anything at times were I have to go out to get something.
