Eyelash extensions - has anyone used them

And would you recommend them?

I just go and have temporary ones put on (about £10-15 depending on where I go) which last about a week with some TLC. Had looked at the semi permanent ones but read a lot of reviews that said their own eyelashes had fallen out when the false lashes fell off so that really put me off!

I love the ones I get, but only ever get them fairly short otherwise I look like a drag queen

I had them for my wedding, I love the look but hated them and picked them off on honeymoon, leaving very sparse lashes for a while.

Any kind of hair extension is bad for the underlying hair. A friend of mine is a hairdresser and wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. Lash extensions might look great to start with but will wreck your lashes.

I had them last month, they looked fab but the glue irritated me, also with the lashes being quite stiff and being glued to the base if you touched them they were uncomfortable.
I had to pick them off as it was bank holiday and I was left with sparse lashes, and they are still falling out, i've gone from having really thick (but short) lashes to hardly having any and 6 weeks on they still arent growing :-(

Saying that im sure it was the company that did it, my friends all have hem and only one other had same problems as me

I had them.for my wedding. My own lashes have never been the same since (7 years ago).

Whenever I go on a night out I use the temp lashes that are on a strip and u glue on. I used to use mac ones til I discovered that the eyelure and girls aloud (!) Ones are just as good and don't wreck my own lashes at all.

Don't do it if you wear glasses.
