I just bought a Dorothy Perkins red dress in the sales for £10 - bargain - as i had the version in blue/green for my holidays and it was a lovely fit. I cant do links sorry, but its a very basic jersey dress, and they do versions in lots of colours, original price was around £16. Ive got my eye on the stripey version too.... Anyway, i digress. How can i accessorise the red dress without it looking too mumsy, im 36 but like a bit of quirkiness, dont like to look like a sensible mum:)

Jewellery would be the way to go here. Perhaps something funky like a gold leave necklace and lots of pretty, delicate bangles? Or a brown narrow belt and brown ankle boots?

I like the idea of a necklace, but always end up getting similar things! Love the idea of brown ankle boots too...i have a pair and will try them on with them. Im just so rubbish with accessories, always feel like its too much when i put something on so end up looking BORING! Thank you!
