Mulberry bayswater - best way to get a good deal?

I am thinking of treating myself to one (in the Oak colour) as a reward for the birth of DS2 - yay me! - but don't want to pay full price.

Can anyone tell me how I can get one for a reasonable price?

Is there any chance I could pick up an Oak version at Cheshire Oaks or would I be looking at finding a 'sale' at one of the stockists?

How much should I be expecting to pay?

Classic colours never go into the sale, unfortunately. You might find a sub at an outlet, but I'm not sure the outlets get them often.

Steer clear of any supposed online discount or outlet store - they're all fake.

Best bet is b grade at factory outlet in somerset (ie at factory)
or find a friend who works at self ridges or netaporter for discount

You could buy in duty free and get 20% off that way.

Second the duty free option, it's the only way to get the classic colours cheaper. I've bought from the store at Heathrow Terminal 5 before and I think there's one in terminal 3 too. So just a case of hunting down a friend or relative travelling through there sometime soon then...

My friend has been to the outlet in Somerset and got some amazing bargains there. If there's any doubt as to its authenticity you could phone/email Mulberry to ask if what they sell there is the real deal. Also another yes to duty free.

How about hanging on for a House of Fraser 30 % off or 2 day brand event?

Hv - my cookie bayswater in tan was in the sale, 20% off from £995 I saved around £200. From Bentalls department store just 3 weeks ago.
