Talk to me about painting my toenails and fingernails

Toenails painted, always. I rarely do match matchy though.

Nearly always toenails in a nice happy colour, fingernails often just get a splosh of clear though.

If I do both, then I never match them, but tend to stick with brights on one, a pale or neutral on the other so they don't clash.

I tend to do pale/neutral fingers in summer with bright toes and bare toes in winter with bright/dark fingers.

Hadn't thought about it before but like others I tend to go one set bright the others neutral - often the much despised (on here at any rate but oft admired in RL) french mani / pedi

Sometimes mine match. Sometimes not!

Depends what you are like, I have one very elegant, quite posh friend who is definitely matchy, whereas I like to think I am a bit cooler and edgier actually just scruffier and not posh so never match...the truth is I am far from cool and no one really cares (do they?!), just go with what you fancy

Toenails always (mask a fungal nail infection. TMI) finger nails never for me (work) but will start doing them again soon.

Both! Always fingers, usually toes. I like dark colours on my toes and anything goes on my fingers, I'm obsessed with nail polish!

Never match - toenails are always done as I can't stand naked toenails.

I'm happy for fingernails to be clear, or painted, but never chipped. I love Revlon nail varnish - it's the only one that has any staying power for me. I've been wearing this colour for four days and not a single chip to be seen, despite cleaning, gardening etc.

At the weekend it was bright pink toenails and black fingernails. I either do these to match or to compliment.
