New bag, has a gold clasp which has started to tarnish/flake slightly after 2 weeks. Would you return or is this to be expected? Bag was £140.

I purchased in an outlet but that's no reason not to return is it? I don't really want to have to make a fuss but I would be within my rights I think as it's a bit shoddy.

You are def within your statutory rights to return it. They can offer you a replacement, but you don't have to accept it.

Return. It will annoy you every time you look at it.

return it. Mind you this happened to me once and I replaced the bag only to have it happen again. It was a design fault, but I really liked the bag so I kept it the second time

Return. That's a lot of money for a dodgy bag.

Return and put clear varnish over the new one when you get it - though you may want to test an inconspicuous area first.

Definitely return it at that price.
