Isabella Oliver - is it worth it?

Getting a bit ahead of myself as not yet pg with #2 but I'm wondering if a few items from Isabella Oliver would be a worthwhile investment when the time comes?

I'm a SAHM so don't need work wrest but thinking a couple tops and maybe a dress or two. I felt so fat and unattractive last time as we were moving house so couldn't afford to buy anything. I spent 10 months plus alternating between 2 dresses and 3 tops, I kid you not.

Oh and open to suggestions of other maternity brands as I didn't look further than Gap last time and wasn't too impressed

do it. Definitely. The dresses make you feel sexy ( no mean feat when enormous). They also resell at a decent price on ebay

They look gorgeous and really well made. I want something that can get me through 6 months of pregnancy and first 3 months post.

Interesting. I've seen some stuff at Jo's and I haven't been that impressed although there isn't much of a selection at my local shop. Any high street brands worth a look at? Don't Topshop and H&M do a maternity range? Wonder what the quality is like

Why don't you try and buy on ebay?

What madmomma said.

Isabella Oliver stuff is lovely, but i somehow never wore it as much as i thought i would as i also found thewrap top a bit of a nightmare. I found topshop by far and away the best for quality, size and trendiness! also it sells on pretty well too. I tried H&M, pumpkin patch, gap, new look, mothercare, warehouse (only around when i had my first son), river island (now stopped), next and blooming marvellous - none were quite right for me. If you want some other 'high end' brands to try I think seraphine and crave sre on a similiar level to isabella oliver

I'm with madmomma too - do it!
If I have another DC I would be so excited about wearing my IO maternity clothes again.
Agree with others though - the wrap top was a nightmare - reduced me to tears getting ready for a night out!
Everything else I loved - also got two nursing tops that I wear and wear - washed so well.

I now buy quite a bit from the non maternity ranges too - find the quality excellent ( though sizing can be a bit odd - size down!)
