whens summer coming i want to wear my nice summer clothes!

Do I just suffer the cold legs and wear cardis and coats all the time!
My poor maxi dresses, thin cotton trousers and cute little skirts are sitting in the wardrobe unworn.
Help! How can I make these things work in the pouring rain?

You can't I am fed up with it too. I have vowed to buy no more summer clothes ever again.

Now I am well known for hating winter clothes, I shudder at the mere thought of ugly heavy knitwear in shades of grey and sludge normally... but I've already ordered from the Next A/W collection and have my eye on a wool coat and ankle boots, because I want new clothes I can actually WEAR.

Similarly, DD has a wardrobe full of pretty floaty dresses. She's not worn a single one of them.
I think we'll see many more cases of SAD this year, and a huge depression when proper winter arrives, and people realise we didn't even have a summer.
