Just about to start work on decorating our nursery and looking for general ideas and inspiration especially for wallpaper/borders/fabric/colour schemes.

I've had a look at all the usual websites, Laura Ashley, John Lewis, JoJoMaman etc etc but all seem fairly standard and nothing leaping out at me. I'm generally looking for something gorgeous and a bit of inspiration to get me started. I am quite out of touch as live in a very rural area up north now but always remember seeing stunning things in smaller shops when I lived in London but of course being so long ago no idea what they were! So if you have any gorgeous little boutique type baby shops near you would love to hear about them.

I may well just paint walls (neutral colours as baby gender is going to be a surprise) and then spend a bit on adding a really nice border around the top so looking for things that are fairly clean cut/classic or cute (i.e. probably with zoo animals in or similar). Or paint and do a single smaller wall with super nice wallpaper. So any ideas and suggestions much appreciated, also would love to know who is the "colefax and fowler of baby room decorating" to get some inspiration!!

Also general websites with baby room inspiration on them a help.

I love ferm living's prints.

The little baby company has some nice stuff too.

There's a good blog that has kids interiors, but the name escapes me atm, I'll try and have a think.
