And BEHOLD the most amazing thing I have ever used on my patchy old caterpillars E V E R R R R

my brows have never looked better

It is so fine, finer than any pencil, it fills in but not in a blocky powdery way, I am in love

happy sigh

For the love of God - not all tattooed brows are Scouse Grouchos-types - go to a reputable, qualified person and they will tattoo fine hair-like strokes in a non-black colour in a non-block natural arch.

Mine look very natural still after 2.5 years (hair all fell out) and people are surprised to find out they are tattooed on. I was fed up of having to constantly check in the mirror to see if I had once again accidently wiped half an eyebrow off or if it had slid off in the rain/sweat/whatever.

cybbo · 10/07/2012 16:58

I DIDN'T BUY IT IN SELFISHNESS

I BOUGHT IT IN FRIGGIN SELFRIDGES

I have one that I got in a beauty box a while back by alacarte. It is bloody amazing but £20 +. I also have a HD brows palette but the pen pisses all over it for the non scouse bird look.

The gosh one is supposed to be a dupe of both but much cheaper.

ggirl · 10/07/2012 21:10

love the thread title..

how much was this suquu one?

I have a friend who has tattooed brows and they look very natural..I never would have guessed they were tattooed.

I am allergic to dye or I would be getting them done.

My brows aren't sparse just peely wally and going grey ...aaaargh!!

I use makkie pencil reccy by someone on here...tis v good and cheap!

bigwombat · 10/07/2012 21:21

No eyebrows at all here - they fell out a good 10 years ago, I've got a type of alopecia affecting my hairline too. I don't bother at all with eyebrows as they seem to smudge away so easily and you end up with only one brow. Plus I'm a redhead so had naturally very fair brows, so dark looks a bit strange. If this pen is quite pale brown and fine, then maybe it's worth a go.

cybbo · 10/07/2012 22:23

GGirl was £20
It doesn't have same effect as pencil....am evangelical

That Makkie eyebrow thing looks fascinating. Is it any good? Does it just colour the hairs?

KateSpade · 10/07/2012 23:07

The brow dye lasts around 3/4 years, and needs touch up's at least once a year or will fade. Or thats what ive been told, so its not so much a mistake for life. Im struggling to find someone around my area thats good. That is my Problem!

Ryoko · 10/07/2012 23:25

So you paint your eyebrows on with a felt tip pen and you think thats a perfectly normal thing to do?.

First woman pluck their brows to oblivion so they look like barbie dolls now they finish the job of looking fake by penning them back on.........

I weep for womankind tbh.

Sleepwhenidie · 10/07/2012 23:31

Er...have you read the thread through ryoko Hmm? I don't think suffering from a form of alopecia is the same as "plucking to oblivion", believe it or not some people naturally just have very little hair anywhere on their body - and it's not always their preference! Weep for something else Fgs.

Ryoko · 10/07/2012 23:44

I'd rather walk around without.

madmomma · 11/07/2012 06:00

happy weeping Ryoko

cybbo · 11/07/2012 08:09

I bought the GOSH one today. I LIKE already. Got their brow gel too.

Never heard of Makkie - is it good then?

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 11/07/2012 12:04

I've got the Gosh one, in the darkest shade, but it is still too reddish brown for me (what's left of my brow hair is almost black, but sparse in the extreme, due to alopecia too, got about 10 hairs in each brow). However it is much more resilient than pencils, powder shadows, Benefit Browzing. What I do is use a dark pencil first, currently Eyelure, then paint over with the Gosh pen to seal them. Looks fine and lasts.

I'm also considering tattoos but not sure how to find a reputable person to do it.

Iatemyskinnyperson · 11/07/2012 12:29

I am also a brow-product aholic. I've tried that GOSH one but there was too much red in it. I use the Clinique brow pencil in soft brown (v fine twist-up pencil) most often, but also really like Anastasia brow gel- the one I have is granite which would suit yer average brunette. Brushes on like a mascara and lasts well. I think I got it online from makeup mania??

madmomma · 11/07/2012 12:35

dior brow pencils are brilliant, in case anyone prefers a pencil. They're the only browns I've found that don't have red in them. Big range of colours and they last well, too.

valiumredhead · 11/07/2012 13:23

GOSH do make one similar and it is shite!

ggirl · 11/07/2012 18:23

Pinot- I like my makki eyebrow pencil..it's not the fancy one just the bog standard pencil.
Cybb I got two sharpeners with my order..you will be awash with them!

cybbo · 11/07/2012 19:16

That's cool I lose them everywhere

waggles eyebrows at Ryoko
