I have just had my invitation to the VIP sale emailed to me. Starts Wednesday 11th at 8pm.

Merck. Hope there's bits online. Went a sale at 6am and never again. Had to queue for two hours just to check out!

If you go to the stores for the sales, the trick is to take a friend. Friend queues whilst you shop.

Thanks for telling - I usually get an email invite but I don't have one yet. So I just went to www.next.co.uk/vipsale and registered anyway! My slot is from 9.30pm, don't nick all the good stuff!

Tried to log in to the VIP sale, but it's for selected people only!

I happened to be using my laptop when the VIP invite came in. Managed to get a 6pm slot.

I didn't get a VIP invite, I usually do but maybe because I haven't bought much recently. But I used the link above and got a slot, desperately need to buy next size up clothing for the DTs! So thank you littlepandabear!

I've booked my slot and made a short list I'll try and add to my basket if it's not all sold out!

No slot allowed and as its probably due to returns I haven't made but they've done on my behalf

I got a 6pm Wed slot, which appears to be the start of the online sale. Very surprised as I did buy a couple of things but returned them!

I haven't bought anything from next online since the Christmas sale so I'm not sure why I've got a slot. Maybe because I've paid off all my account and they are trying to tempt me to buy online again!

To be selected for an invitation you must:

1. Have a Next flexible credit account with at least £250 credit available.

1. Have placed and kept an order from the Next Directory within the last year

1. Have an up to date email address and be registered to receive sale and promotional emails. (You can amend or update your e-mail address when you sign into your account online.)

1. Have received a copy of the Next Directory.

1. Have returned less than two thirds of the items you?ve ordered.

I have all of those things ceeveebee and still didn't get one! :-(

When does the 'proper' sale start?

Well I haven't managed to get anything I wanted - but have managed to order lots of things I neither want or need. The power of a bargain eh? Will probably end up returning most of it!

That's what those of us who didn't get a slot hope ceeveebee, I cleaned up in the sale at Christmas when all the returns came in :)

I bought loads for my 3, went a bit overboard! At the Xmas sale there wasn't anything in the sizes I wanted so wasnt expecting to get much

This time everything I wanted they had in stock,I also bought some converse trainers for my two ds as they needed new ones anyway for £15. Not sure how much I'll actually keep though.

Well, I got a few bits and some christmas extras. Yep, I did say that!

When does the sale start in stores?

It might be worth checking your account settings, if you aren't registered to receive emails from them I don't think they will send a VIP invitation. I didn't get one for ages, changed my settings and got one the next time round. I've ordered a few bits (just as I'd paid it all off... Grrrr).

I got my VIP invite on Monday, booked slot for Wednesday at 6pm and have placed my order. Basically, if you dont get an early slot, there is little choice left after the first couple of hours. At the last sale I missed my invite and only picked it up later that evening and ended up with a Thursday as that was the earliest available slot. Looking at the preview stuff, there were loads of things I was hoping to order available - but by the time I got on to shop, it had all gone!

Sale in-store should start Sat 14th, and there should be plenty of stock as with the horrible weather we have had, summer stock has not sold as well as usual. Happy hunting!

I got a slot but it wasn't until 7am this morning. There was SFA left by that time, just like last time. Don't think I'll bother again.
