Got the hen / bee pinafores for DD as they were 50% off but otherwise very disappointed after rushing onto site at 5pm.

I got some roma leggings 1/2 price, but nothing else for me. Got some clothes for DCs for next summer as were some 50% off bargains.

Not much cop really is it? Disappointing. Just went and spent dcs sale clothing budget over at joules sale instead. Better reductions for the things I was after.

I posted something back to Boden on Friday. Yesterday they reduced it by £25. Does anyone know whether I'll get the full amount I paid for it back, or the reduced amount? TIA

Johnnie is supposed to be such a retail genius so it's really odd that when he's got more competition than ever from brands like Joules and White Stuff and Seasalt he chooses to a) delay the sale until people have spent elsewhere and b) make it really pants.

Anyone know, does it really take 8-10 days for sale stuff to arrive or do they just say that so you don't start hassling them after a few day? I've ordered a couple of things today for holiday but I forgot we're going in 9 days.

follyfoot - you would get a refund for the amount you paid for it. you would only get the reduced amount refunded at a shop if you couldn't prove how much you paid - which is obviously not the case with boden

Rafaella - I had an email last night to say my parcel had been sent and it said 1st class royal mail so I doubt it does take 8-10 days unless they send it 2nd class.

Ordered a couple of things yesterday, first time in over a year but then its just long sleeved tops and a denim skirt, all of which will be used in A/W as well as during what's left of this summer.

Already got an email saying parcel is on its way.

Irritatingly as well I only recieved my email telling me there was a sale on about 5 minutes ago. I was going to say good job I knew from the posts on here, but as I didnt buy anything, it wasn't really a good job at all.

I always receive the sale stuff in a few days (usually normal delivery time) - nowhere near the delay that they quote. They are just covering themselves, so think you should defo be oK for holidays

Gah! Why do they bother having a size setter? Everything that I like, that is supposedly available in my size, isn't.

I paid extra for premium delivery on both my orders...nothing

My DM who ordered 9 hours after me and just got standard has her bits already...so very Angry!!

Ordered pjs from mini and a lovely shirt from Johnnie B for DD1. Not very big reductions on the things I liked in ladies so decided to hold out for the Autumn collection.

I did comment on the FB page, they were not very helpful and said standard can take up to ten days, people just get lucky sometimes.

Where as premium is guaranteed with 2-3 days!

The sale was rubbish, the CS has really gone down hill and now delivery is rubbish.

I will not be paying extra again!

I've just had an email saying that there's now up to 70% off in some styles and lots of further reductions. Haven't had a proper look though to see if its any good...

Their leather classic satchel has 70% off now down to £38.70. Looks quite nice quality (though a bit boring for my liking)

Of the two (admittedly dull) things I would like:

Sunglasses - still £41 reduced from £49

Bootcut jeans (sorry, I know, a Mumsnet hate) - £50 reduced from £59

As someone said upthread - could have got more off during one of the 20% offers.
