wanted - a casual but smartish parka

i'm looking for a lightweight parka thats casual but smart(ish)and preferably waterproof that i can wear walking the dog or to go to the pub or hanging around town.

I'm quite tall so i want it to come down to at least mid thigh or above my knee.
Anyone know where i can look?

Is there such a thing?

I just bought the talbot parka in the Hobbs sale - surprisingly flattering

A bit more pricey but I'm sure would last many many years-Didriksons Thelma. I own a didriksons Elly which saw me through the winter it's amazing, the hood stays up in the harshest winds and us generous enough. The Thelma is around 100£
