I had a spray tan yesterday for a wedding tomorrow and my hands and feet ate deep orange!

Nooo!!

Does anyone have some advice on how to tone it down by tomorrow?
My poor, poor orange palms :-(

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. HTH.

dexter73 · 06/07/2012 14:22

You can buy fake tan remover wipes from Boots I think.

sweetheart · 06/07/2012 14:38

sweat is pretty effective at getting rid of fake tan. Wear a pai of shoes without socks that will make your feet sweat - not sure what you could do about your hands without making your whole body sweaty and stripy though - sorry!

Oh and also - if you had it done at a salon go and complain. they should give you a barrier cream to put on your feet and palms.

Toothpaste

CharltonHairstyle · 06/07/2012 20:18

Thanks for your replies!

I've tried exfoliating, lemon juice and baby wipes.

My palms are streaksville, Arizona! I'm just going to put up with it...Sad

No one looks at your palms or your feet. Anyway...right?!

Hopefully everyone will be too pissed to notice anyway!

planetpotty · 06/07/2012 20:25

It's horrible but washing powder and a scrubbing brush and just keep persevering.

Failing that gloves! Smile

HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 06/07/2012 20:30

Honestly the tooth paste works, I stripped tan of both my legs with it.

Iatemyskinnyperson · 06/07/2012 20:43

Nair took tan off my legs once.

CharltonHairstyle · 06/07/2012 20:53

So, did you just smear toothpaste on you legs and wipe it off? Or wash it off?
I've had some wine now - it might not be the best time to start messing with my mahogany palms Grin

Wear gloves to the wedding like wot the Queen does and Ugg boots.

Sorted

CharltonHairstyle · 06/07/2012 21:16

Would Dr. martins and a pair of those massive foam fingers do?

It's going to have to Grin

I had a fake tan disaster with one of those spray ones. I phoned boots and went aaaaaaaaaaaaargh.

They spoke to their science bod who spoke to the sciencey manufacturer bod. He said rub or scrub in toothpaste, ideally cheap stuff, and rinse off. It took two goes but worked.

Boots paid for the toothpaste too Grin

haththefecklessbreeder · 06/07/2012 21:27

You can get fake tan remover wipes in my teeny tiny local Tescos.

CharltonHairstyle · 06/07/2012 21:32

Well, my DP works in a mahoosive Tesco and I asked him to bring some in - apparently they don't have any the big liar

Right, I'm off to rub myself in toothpaste..
