I am going to a christening in August. What does one wear to a christening these days? Also it is for a brother and sister. Does one give a joint card or separate ? What type of gifts to people give these days and is it ok to give money as a gift?

clothes-wise something smart, classic and simple, tailor what you wear to the reception venue. Pressie - depends if you're related/godparent/friend ect. A good quality childrens' hardback book is always a nice christening gift, perhaps a classic story or a selection of poems. Hope the weather is kind to you!
