what to wear with navy wide leg trousers?

On a quest to get some new work clothes I got some lovely navy wide-leg trousers in the White Stuff sale.

What colours go with navy? Can I wear brown shoes??

I wear quite a lot of navy for work, colours that I think go well are:-

White
Beige
Grey
Red
Coral / Peach
Lemon
Lilac
Brown
Teal
Mint
Pink

Shoes I'd go for:-
Brown
Silver
Grey
Nude
Leopard Print - if you're feeling a bit daring
Red - if you're brave enough - I'm not!

I would never put black with navy blue!

That lady has a very easy to follow style - she basically wears a t-shirt with a cardigan in a coordinating colour and then adds a statement necklace or scalf. It would make you look together without trying too hard and wouldn't be too expensive to replacate.

The scalf is lovely by the way - would look great with a white t-shirt and peach cardigan, or a white t-shirt and a navy cardigan

Also rather than a mid green go for either mint or teal greens to contrast with the navy blue.

The next scarf would also look fab with white jeans (I know you have navy trs) and a stone top

Today I found some really nice v neck cotton/polyester coloured cards in New Look...at £9.99 you could really stock up.

So stylish drywhite :)
