Is it to use on naturally curly hair or a product to use on hair before curling with tongs/wand/straighteners etc?

Old fashioned setting lotion is the best thing I have found stupid super fine hair I can't find it on Boots or Superdrug website but I've seen it in both shops, on the bottom shelf with the hair styling stuff. Very plain bottle.

Tresseme heat protector spray is nice because it doesn't make your hair crispy like a lot of them do but still seems to keep the curl quite well. You can buy a small holiday size bottle from Superdrug for about a pound if you want to try it without too much commitment. Spray on wet hair, blow dry (can rough dry, doesn't have to be a full on "blowdry") and then curl with tongs.

You can still get mousse if that's what you think you want to use.
