Help! Bibendum on Friday night with the in-laws...

Going for a anniversary meal to Bibendum (London) this Friday and I'm struggling with what to wear, mainly because I don't know the 'base' dress code (as it's a celebration meal I guess I'm going to have to be dressed a notch above the base dress code).

So could anyone who has been to Bibendum tell me what kind of things people wear, then I can shop accordingly! Many hanks in advance

On a saturday lunchtime it was everything between jeans and a t-shirt to facelifts and cocktail dresses...not sure if that helps!

I haven't been but I spend quite a bit of time in fancy restaurants and you see everything from utterly dolled up to very casual.

I would go for blazer/dress or nice trousers and top.

As long as you don't rock up in ripped jeans and a fluoro cagoule, no one will bat an eyelid.

Bibendum is super casual done slightly flashy. So the regulars wear jeans, but these are often white, and worn with heels and barely-there tops, rather than ballet pumps and a jacket. More lipgloss than the Playboy mansion.

I do like it there, but they probably think I'm the cleaner Grin
