Fake Tanners: advice needed!

I am going on holiday on Saturday and my skin is so pale that it actually looks grey. Also scaly knees due to psoriasis. I've got self tanners which I rarely use (classic st tropez, loreal sublime bronze spray, garnier gradual tanner, clarins mousse).
My plan is as follows: exfoliate like a mad woman tomorrow (Weds) and Thurs and moisturise afterwards, then on Fri morning after droping off DD moisturise scaly knees, feet, and hands only (do I need to shower again?) and apply st tropez. Leave it on for 6 hours (until pick up) and wash off and hopefully come out ok with no streaks.
What do I do while on holiday for 2 weeks? My skin does not tan. Shall I take the gradual tanner with me to top up? Will I turn a funny colour if I mix brands? Do I exfoliate again or will this take off the st tropez base layer? Will st tropez fade evenly or will I get darker patches on dry areas (eg knees) which will not fade as quickly as other areas?
Thanks for the advice!
