MarthasHarbour · 02/07/2012 14:11

too bloody right

i saw a gorg jade green and black dress in oasis in House of Fraser a few weeks ago, tried it on, loved it and thought i would wait for the sales (even tho it was 25% off that day).

turned out to be a limited edition, cant find it anywhere. i keep picturing me in this lovely dress. i feel like i am 12 again and my dreams have been shattered

i can barely live with myself Sad

cazza40 · 02/07/2012 14:13

Agreed particularly if you can get one in the sales !

AnnaMosity · 02/07/2012 14:13

i was humming and hawing about a shift type affair that i had no real need for but would get worn at some point- then Mate said 'but you always seem to have the dress when we get an invitation" and i thought - good point

Has knee-gate happened yet? Did you hate every minute?

thestringcheesemassacre · 02/07/2012 18:04

agree, my mate always pulls out unworn frocks for occasions. Whereas I'm scrambling round trying to find something, ordering frantically etc.
She just goes to the cupboard.

MissBeehivingUnderTheMistletoe · 02/07/2012 18:24

Oh God, YES.

You should ALWAYS buy something when you see it.

AnnaMosity · 03/07/2012 06:25

Yup. Knees were covered. Was boring tbh

I always talk myself out of a purchase...

MrsCampbellBlack · 03/07/2012 19:52

Link to new dress please - shift style only type that suit me really

ggirl · 03/07/2012 19:52

I am going to ladies day at salisbury races...apparently I need to get dressed up. Was going to wear this

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/07/2012 21:48

I always have a black dress and matching shoes for funerals, a not too fancy party dress for going out for meals and a fancy party dress for weddings etc.

Then I sell them when I get bored and buy something else.

Shoes are the trouble spot for me.

trixymalixy · 03/07/2012 21:57

I am kicking myself for not buying that striped DP dress that was linked to a couple of months ago. I ummed and aahed about it for ages.

Now I am actually looking for a jersey summer dress , can I find one?!?!?
