St Moritz

I've never fake tanned before and having been using the palmers cocoa butter gradual tan for the last couple of days but I think its a bit orange and patchy. I've been reading old tanning threads and want to try st Moritz.

I am quite pale, but not "blue". Do I go for medium? Should I get the lotion, mousse or spray? I'll get a mitt too.

Thanks!

I've got this in the medium spray. Apply with a mit and it's the best fake tan in the world, ever. Quite dark when applying and wash off some colour the following morning. Fab-u-lous. [gavel]

Sorry if this sounds daft, but how do you apply a spray with a mitt? Do you spray it onto the mitt or onto yourself then rub it in with the mitt? Thanks!

The St Moritz spray nozzle is rubbish so you're going to have to rub it in with something.i.e. spray on leg then rub lightly with mitt.
I much prefer this to St Tropez which does last longer but has a much deeper yellow tinge to it (I'm pale).
I thought it was a much more natural colour when it wore off.

Oh, so get the mousse if you can.

IDontDoIroning · 01/07/2012 20:18

I would use the mousse with a mitt- or if you haven't got a mitt use a pair of rubber gloves with (black) socks on your hands.
I say take mousse as I have found the spay a little uneven and blobby,

I use it mostly on my dd who does Latin dancing although I have used it myself too.

She is dark blonde with hazel eyes fair skinned but not really really fair. The medium is quite nice for every day but I tend to use the dark on her as they need to go quite dark for the dancing. It does go a nice natural colour not orange at all.

You may want to try the medium and build up a few layers.

Yeah get the mousse and apply with a mitt. Cant go wrong! I wouldnt get the dark shade tho! As it is what it says!
