thanks, looking for smart ish would wear to go out for lunch , that type of thing . done really casual all my life and trying to smarten up !
jeans are levis slim leg , but plan to buy some skinnies aswell

If you re feeling minted this jacket dbem is really lovely it's 1/2 price in a store near me (Dublin) if you did a search you might find something similar maybe.
A pair of mid heeled ankle boots are a great investment too - similar to the ash jalouse or acne - Asos do a great imitation as did oasis but I think the oasis ones are sold out or taken off the shelf until later in the year.

thanks, i think its colours that confuse me ! my bag is russet brown and everything else i own is tan . what colour boots would be best ?

Dunno, there s so many shades of brown .... I think I would go for maybe grey (I have a pair of grey ones that work fairly well with my tan bag ) but then I don't like things too match-y match-y. However I still like to hope the whole look doesnt get too chaotic.
I think if the bag is russet then I wouldn't go for a chocolate brown as it might look like you were trying to match up but failing ....
You would probably have to see it all together tho. Maybe a tan pair would be quite nice.
