La redoute?

I've never bought from la redoute before but I've been flicking through a catalogue and there are some lovely things. A couple of gorgeous coats and some really nice print blouses.

What's the quality like?

Same company as Vertbaudet. I've bought a few clothes from Vertbaudet for DS and they have been fabulous, but I would never order from them again because of the daily marketing emails with random discount codes and almost daily junk coming through the post from them.

I wish they would just price their items sensibly. Instead they bump up the prices artificially and then regularly send out 30% discount codes to make you feel like you're getting a bargain.

I found the quality of both them and, more especially, Vertbaudet to be quite poor.

i get regular 70* off e-mails and its still bloody expensive.
quality good - wahses well etc.

Its a bit hit and miss. I have some linen tops that are perfect and Ive had them for years, but some knit wear that hadn't worn so well.

I found the finishing poor - bought a coat a while ago and all the buttons fell off within weeks. The coat is lovely and I just sewed the buttons back on, but still. And I never got a response about my complaint, despite contacting them five times.
