Jeans with elasticated cuff things at ankle?

Saw someone wearing them at the play park and now fancy a pair. Best way to describe would be shaped like jogging bottoms at bottom, but like jeans at top, and blue denim. Anyone seen any anywhere? Thanks.

I've seen them in River Island but it was a while ago. I'd never know what to wear with them!

iknowanoldlady · 30/06/2012 11:09

I probably wouldn't either, she was slimmer than me for one. She had a fitted jacket and flat pump type shoes. Just a notion....

I just checked River Island as I saw some in the shop not long back, but none on there website. New Look will prob have them in.

I would just wear them with a floaty vest top and pumps. I really like them, but have very short hair so look like a bit of a boy in anything like that!

It was for ds,but I bought some in Primark, dont know if they have womens as well as mens though.

HandMadeTail · 30/06/2012 11:18

What is with you people? They are horrible! Just because something is available in the shops doesn't mean it is attractive! Yuk!

valiumredhead · 30/06/2012 16:00

I had some - bcd in the 80s! Grin

I must be very old if I am recognising fashions the second time round!

swooosh · 30/06/2012 16:11

Sorry on phone can't link properly Blush

valiumredhead · 30/06/2012 16:12

Can't imagine them being flattering unless you are a stick insect tbh.

nickiminja · 30/06/2012 16:12

my late 50s male neighbour and his mail order midlife crisis gf have matching sno-wash ones. She wears hers with perspex stripper shoes and white sparkly boob tube.

valiumredhead · 30/06/2012 16:17

Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! Shock Grin

FuckityFuckFuck · 30/06/2012 16:20

They make people look like over grown toddlers IMO

There is no flattering way to wear them

nickiminja · 30/06/2012 16:20

He looks like Barry from Eastenders.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 30/06/2012 16:44

If the image of a Barry-lookie-likie in sno-wash cuffed jeans isn't enough to put you off...

you need more help than we can give you here Grin

gavel

iknowanoldlady · 30/06/2012 19:08

Yup. You are right. Already asked for my post to be removed. Had a shitty day and lost rag about possibly the least important point in the history of the world. Apologies. Backing away from the computer and towards the wine right now.

DialsMavis · 30/06/2012 19:12

I would look hideous with them, but I do know a stick insect who looks fabulous in them. Smile

KurriKurri · 30/06/2012 19:27

New Look have some - just put Cuffed jeans in the search box.

these I rather like - they've got a few other ones too.

I think they look very comfortable, personally.

Come back OP - don't be offended at s&b - people will give you their opinions, but ultimately you don't have to take any notice, - just buy and wear what you like. Hell I even like some of the Per Una collection Grin
