Applied Clarins tan at 1800, would normally shower before bed, but I'm knackered and can't be bothered!! Will it go patchy if I leave it ?

When I use st trop I leave for as long as possible; put it on on a.m & leave overnight as I get most even result. Is 3hours how long u usually leave it?
