Nursing bra for small bust

I've been using carriwell nursing bras but want something a bit fancier. I just received a Bravado Bliss in the post and even though it's the right size under the boobs, it's like a big empty cathedral above them.

I'm so disappointed and have to shop online for the bras which makes the fitting harder. I'm a 38B. (38AA pre bf) I might get to a C when full and I was when I tried the bra on.

So any suggestions of which bra to try next?

Hi RiskIt. I had a few really lovely bras from Hot Milk and another nice one from Royce (I think). There were some lovely ones to chose from at the time. I think you can buy them mail/web order but I got them from a local lady who visited me at home to try them as the sizes/shapes ranged massively. I would definitely recommend doing that :)

I think there's a very pretty range by Elle mcphearson (sp) that are smaller sizes. Try google?

Another vote for hotmilk. They are great bras and wear very well.

Elle McPherson La Mere nursing bra is lovely but pricey (I had to wait till my wedding to splash out!).
I loved the maternelle ones also but mine went pneumatic due to feeding probs so I found them useful but not too supportive due to fluctuating size.

The Bravado Bodysilk is a much snugger/nicer fit on a smaller bust and has removable pads. It comes in S-XL but you should be able to find a size guide on any website that sells it.

Are you measuring yourself correctly (ie. Actual under bust circumference and then 1 cup per extra inch round the bust)? Ie. Not adding 4 inches. You might find more choice if you go down a band size or two and up a cup size or two.
