I ordered a few things from BrandAlley when they had a Joules sale.

Delivery should have been around the 25th of June. Checked the other day and my account states that the order has been delayed. I'm quite disappointed as I won't get the clothes in time for our holiday now.

Anyone else in a similar position with them? Last year when I complained to them about their extraordinarily long waiting time to despatch goods they said this was how they were able to offer such good discounts... However, the things I've ordered were only marginally less expensive than Joules' own sale prices and they deliver pretty quickly.

It's putting me right off them, tbh.

I have a few things from BrandAlley - I think you really have to pick and choose which sales you go for given the long delivery times. As you've discovered, with some things it's a false economy (particularly given their fairly high delivery charge too). I never buy high street things from there because I always wonder whether they'll be on sale by the direct retailer before I've received them.

I've had one order which was never completed due to one of the items supposedly no longer being available from the retailer - yet the same thing was being advertised on the site in subsequent sales. Other than that I've generally been pleased with my orders once they've finally arrived.

I think that the site is pretty clearly promoted and it's misguided to expect instant delivery when they make it clear you'll be waiting some time.

They have some fantastic bargains e.g. Sam edelmann sale that's on currently. I wouldn't buy sandals for holiday this year but there are loads of styles on there with staying power for fantastic prices.

If you need joules clothes urgently I think you already have the answer - cancel and shop in the joules sale.

I've just waited 3 weeks for 2 items, they sent the wrong items and today they have only refunded one of them and not the complete order.

Bit miffed.

Love Brandalley. Yes they take a long time to deliver but they state this upfront. OP, just email them and cancel
