We are off on Holiday next week and will get to spend a few days in Honk Kong! It has just clicked that, that is where the wonderful MN scarfs generally come from ....
So what else should I be on the look out for ?

Hong Kong is a shopping heaven. You will find anything and everything there if you are relatively small of frame (I'm size 10 and only the largest sizes were big enough for me). At least a 10% discount is routine. I still remember what I boight from there: an amazing leather bag, an Anna Sui coat that I wore for years, plus a DvF silk dress. And saw some lovely Marc Jacobs party dresses there.

It can be very hot and humid so dress appropriately!

I bought the most fab fake longchamp bag when I was in hk, from the market, about a five each.
There is also this big kind of mall that has lots of tiny boutiques all under one roof, and you just go round and round and it goes on forever. I will see if dh remembers the name of it when he gets home.
Also good is the fairly new place by the harbour, big mall.
Hong kong is def shopping heaven- have a great time.

I remember trying an XL and it being too small (I'm a 10/12)! Great cosmetics though in drugstores etc.

Try some of the little food places in the markets. I said never but we found one and had noodles with veg and beer. It was amazing.

Where are you staying I know Hk v well do feel free to ask any questions!

Not been there for a few years, however the 'ladies market' has almost perfect fakes if that's your thing. For the good stuff you will need to be taken away from the market to separate rooms to see the real 'good stuff'. Otherwise unless you are a 10/12 under most things in the stores will be too small! SK stuff and other face products are nice to try. Facials are very good

And don't whatever you do buy something from a shop, even what is a worldwide chain and expect them to change it.... They won't.

We are staying at the Regal hotel in Kowloon. What's the must do's with regards to food and beverages and also things to see? Some has suggested the giant Buddha and the glass floor gondola
