What is the sizing like? I'm a 5 and a half, don't want to get pinchy shoes, but 39.5 sounds huge! My cons are a 5...

Size down by at least 1/2 size- if you are normally 5 1/2, I'd go for 38, maybe even 37.5 would be ok for you. I'm always usually a 6(39) even in converse and the 39 superga was huge!

I love mine and think they are true to size but I do find them really slippy when they get wet , have nearly fallen over before going into shops when it's been raining !

Also ordered a pair for DH for Christmas

I have ordered DS and DSS a pair each.

Oh, I tried the code 'data' special' and the first time I did it it deducted the 35% - but then I tried later and it did't work. So it must only work on full priced products. I did get 3% off by liking them on facebook.
