I think this is lovely but only available in a 14.

Or possibly this in a 16

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 26/06/2012 13:02

this?. Love this print - there's something of the VW tassel print about it

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 26/06/2012 13:04

VW tassle print - see what I mean?

Stylelostinlabour · 26/06/2012 20:23

Mint velvet one lovely but wrong colour for me suit bright blues, orange etc but not black - anyone seen any?

Would need super spans for the asos but like the colour and style

Like the blue one with the wrap waist be feel it would bulk me out in places I don't need...

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 26/06/2012 20:33

Not quite in the same leauge, but good none the less - bright pink? Maybe the purple?

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 26/06/2012 20:50

orange. I think a 42 is a 14.

Stylelostinlabour · 26/06/2012 21:10

Thank you phase 8 out but might see 20 others the same - dress buying shouldn't be so hard.

Actually doesn't have to be a dress just a lovely outfit budget not a problem if can wear again and again

ThePathanKhansWitch · 26/06/2012 21:13

I think teal would suit you www.johnlewis.com/334292/Product.aspx?s_pccid=pc_gs_300_

I like the monsoon one posted earlier in the thread, the light mint one - I know you don't like the colour, but I think with with your blue eyes and blond hair, it would look great

UML · 27/06/2012 09:01

I think this is almost there www.lkbennett.com/clothes/dresses/DRDITA668POLYESTER but I am not sure about the straps or the bust seamwork...

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 27/06/2012 09:12

UML · 27/06/2012 09:33

Nice style www.net-a-porter.com/product/179348

Mumlar · 27/06/2012 09:36

Get on the Reiss website, dresses are gorgeous and not too bad price-wise.

Stylelostinlabour · 27/06/2012 19:02

Wow there is some right bargains (well reductions on some sites!) I love the Orange/Pink Damsel dress so will get that ordered tonight.

What about this one is it too much? Will it hide my belly?

Blue Dress

Love the Green DVF Drop waist one but can't bring myself to spend that much on a dress that doesn't look that much if that makes any kind of sense?

The LK Bennett is lovely but with it being strappy I would then need to consider cover if cool and I'd rather just have dress, bag, shoes job done.

Not a footballers wedding but Cheshire Life Photographers will be present - and I don't want to be looking like a bag of tied in middle, probably get caught wedging food into my mouth!

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 27/06/2012 19:45

Ah, glad there was something you liked! That was more or less my favourite in the end too. These would be worth a look for with it, not a bargain but beauties. Well high though...

The blue moschinoCC dress definitely isn't too much, not at all, but I don't thnk it'd be massively flattering (or fattening) either. If anything it's a bit plain - it could quite easily be mistaken for a basic-ish wrap dress in photos a crowd.

But, what gets me is the draping: it looks doesn't look at all like nearly 500 quids worth of artfulness to me at. Is more highstreet level draping to my eye. Just for a random comparison this is less than a 1/4 of the full price of the MCC dress - see how much better the draping is done?

I never get het up about draping. Oh no...

Mind you it might have a 'zing' IRL that I'm not getting from the photos Blush.
