Blank Velcro strapped toddler shoes to Lelly Kelly at home

I got my daughter (2) some Lelly Kelly's in the sale. They were beautiful but didn't survive the beating! I would love to craft my own but need to find some cheapish Velcro strapped blank canvas type shoe in a kids 6? Any ideas as to who might sell. She doesn't have particularly wide feet so can wear generic sized shoes (as opposed to her brother who needs clarkes or start rite) I've also posted in arts and crafts. Can you help?

MrsRoger beat me to it. Will 2nd the M&S maryjanes. Buy them for gym shoes for school and they last the whole school year. Very good quality for the price and really cute even without blinging them up. One thing though if you're ordering online they are big made and if your dd has been measured in Clarks then you'll definately have to go down a size. Both my dds are a size 11.5 in Clarks and their gym shoes are a 10.

You can also get patterned velcro plimsols in Tesco. I bought them a few years ago with butterfly designs and added glitter and sequins to them. Girls had no idea they weren't lelli kellys and we got lots of compliments on them

PS have since bought the real lelli kellys and they lasted less than a month on one of my dds Angry. Tesco ones lasted the whole summer and cost about 3 quid
