Not heavy. Lasts all day. Some people complain that aren't enough shades to choose from. I have 01 and 03 to use depending on whether I'm self-tanned or not. I also use the EL Doublewear Concealer which stays....no matter what!

It's one of the few I've repurchased.

I didn't like EL DOUBLEWEAR itself, as I found the sample the SL gave me too heavy. They're really good at their counter and will give samples to try before you buy.

It's a lovely foundation. Not sure whether it will be enough coverage for you though.

Clarins Everlasting is another good one, in the same price range. Not heavy at all, better coverage, lasts all day.

if i used a good concealer alongside it do you think would the coverage be enough? I'd rather use a tinted moisturiser and have looked at the laura mercier one but again not sure if enough coverage

Yes, the coverage isn't too bad. More than a tinted moisturiser.

I use it and really like it - found the "normal" strength one too heavy and mask-like for me. Good coverage

EclecticShock · 25/06/2012 16:14

I use it, good coverage but not heavy.

SaliFourth · 25/06/2012 22:09

I love it - I'd say it was good coverage if using with a concealer alongside.

SlinkyB · 26/06/2012 12:46

I also use it with my concealer and love it. You can't feel it on your skin, I use the 2.0 colour as it's summer. I tiny bit goes a long way, so the bottle seems to last a long time.

I used to use the EL double wear light but have converted to Lancôme teinte idole 24 hours and it is AMAZING! Medium, v natural coverage with better staying power than EL.

EclecticShock · 26/06/2012 20:28

Must be related to your skin. I tried teint idol but found el double wear light better on oily skin.

LesserOfTwoWeevils · 27/06/2012 02:06

I hated EL DW Light, it was like polyfilla. And there weren't enough shades.

Eliza22 · 27/06/2012 08:28

I love Lancôme Teint Miracle. So many shades to choose from. Lancôme will sample for you which lessens the possibility of making an expensive mistake in terms of shade but...... A few weeks of use (for me) and my skin broke out. Badly. I'm 49 so, spottyness is something I left behind 30 yrs ago. I had to return to EL DW Light.

From time to time, I use the lovely Lancôme, which is the best shade match for me but, I always have to put it away again to "rest" my skin before it gets spotty again.
