everytime i get a lovely sleek bob cut it looks great for a couple of days then the dreaded flick emerges at the back and sides. I've tried blow drying straight, babyliss big hair and even invested in a £9 barrel brush which just makes it worse!!

Hold the brush in the hair untill it is cold, you can speed it up with the cool shot on your drier or use straightners to bend the hair under.

I find the more well conditioned my hair is the easier it is to style too.

I've got very soft hair so I use a bit of root boosting spray on the length at the back.

thank you fluffly i will try that, i don't usually wait until the hair is cold or use the cold shot so something else to try! Smile

You need a better cut imo - a good cut will help the flick!

Tbh ime yes, a bob is really hard to cut well and they really need to know what they are doing or it sticks up as it's not cut properly and doesn't lie flat.
