Paula's choice do a retinol serum which I am getting through my first bottle of. Its good.

There will be info on their website including evidence based research.

Can cause some sun sensitivity so buy a good SPF if you do invest

Retin A is prescription only vitamin A. It is great for anti ageing and acne. However it does have side effects of dry sensitive skin when you first use it and increased sun sensitivity.
I use it every night and like the effects. A less irritating type of vitamin A is Retinol which is not as strong as the Retin A but less side effects.

Ah there you go that explains why Paula's choice can flog it on t'internet without prescription, its the weaker stuff. Hmmm I might graduate to the bad boy stuff.

doesn't mean it's no good though.

I'm going to give the Paula's Choice retinol serum a try, as I'm finding retin-a too harsh.

There was a thread a little while back about this, you can buy it on ebay. I did give it a go but after the first few times (every third night) we got those few days of very sunny weather. My skin was very dry and reacting to the retin A and I thought I'd stop it while it was so hot and try again in the winter. With the weather back to rainy and grey perhaps I should try again.
