J brand 811's

Are they true to size? Recently had to size down in majors so just wanted to check if this is across the board with J brand or does it depend on style?

I am between sizes on the j brands, and the smaller size is good on me. I have a 28.5" waist and wear a 28. I can wear a 27, but they are absolutely skintight on me, which I don't think works with the straight leg.

Hi - Depends on the colour I find. The softer ones, in the colours, seem to come up big. However, traditional Indigo are true to size.

Yep, what MiM said, I have 3 pairs, all in different colours in 3 different sizes...

Thanks ladies, so does that mean they vary between pairs of the same colour too? Or just between colours? Ordering online so have a feeling I'll be ordering an array of sizes!
